Early the next morning, Taehee texted Minho, asking him if he wanted to go to breakfast. His brother was surprised, since he hadn’t spent much time with him. Minho was excited and texted Karam to tell him about it. Karam simply told him to have fun spending time with his brother. Karam was glad that Taehee was finally making an effort. When they were about halfway through with their meal, Taehee brought up the subject of joining the team. Smiling at his brother, he waited patiently for an answer.  Minho had been thinking about this and talking to Karam about it for a while, so he knew his answer. Nodding, he smiled at Taehee. “I would be happy to help you guys. Thank you for asking me.” Taehee took out a paper, handing it to his dongsaeng. “Okay. I do trust you and this is still just an underground business, but everyone else had to sign one of these papers…including myself. It is not a contract, but simply your word on paper saying you will help us. It backs up M.Pire, if something goes wrong with a member.” Minho laughed. “So, it’s like signing a job application. I can do that. I have a question, though. Do we get paid for this? I don’t mean to be rude, but I need that, if I’m going to quit my current job. I’m sure you understand.” Taehee smirked. “Yeah, we all get paid. It comes from an old friend of our father’s who wants to keep this going. He doesn’t pay us with checks, though. It’s all cash, since we have to keep this quiet. He is trustworthy, and his son is a cop, so he is trustworthy. The justice system doesn’t want people like us doing this, so if the wrong person found out, we could be in big trouble. That’s why we have to be careful about who knows of M.Pire and which cops we are in contact with.” He smiled. “I am glad you will join us, Minho. Thank you.” Minho nodded. “You’re welcome.
